How to get here.

From CT Rte 2 East

  1. Take Exit 16 to Rte 149 and turn right.
  2. Go about 4 miles, then cross Route 16 (do not turn off 149).
  3. Continue about 4 more miles; turn right onto N. Moodus Rd. at the flashing light.
  4. Campground is one mile down on the left.

From CT Rte 2 West

  1. Take Exit 18 and turn left onto Rte 16.
  2. Go about 6 miles to the intersection with Rte 149; turn left onto 149.
  3. Continue about 4 miles; turn right onto N. Moodus Rd. at the flashing light.
  4. Campground is one mile down on the left.

From CT Rte 9

  1. Take Exit 11 (a long exit); at the end, turn left onto Rte 154/82.
  2. Turn right at the light onto Rte 82, across the East Haddam bridge.
  3. Bear left onto Rte 149 and stay on 149 to N. Moodus Rd. (flashing light).
  4. Campground is one mile down on the left.

Heads up on GPS

  1. After turning onto North Moodus Rd., drive slowly — the driveway is on your left.
  2. If you pass the Grandview sign, you’ve gone too far.
  3. Avoid GPS routes down Salmon River, Waterhole, Clark Gates, Pickerel Lake, or Grist Mill Roads.
  4. Stick to the main road, or call us at (860) 873-3332.
