New to camping or an old pro, you probably have questions. Can’t find yours? Contact us.
Our season runs from April 15 through October 31. Sites fill up fast, so book early to lock in your dates.
Reserve online through Firefly, or call us at (860) 873-3332 — we love the personal touch. Group and tent reservations must be made by phone.
Occasionally — things like old-time movie nights and a campground storyteller who visits your site. Mostly, campers enjoy the pool, horseshoes, lawn games, and the loft library of books and games at their own pace.
Yes — we have full-hookup sites with water, electric, and sewer. Our other sites are water and electric. All RV hookups are 20/30/50-amp, and there’s an easy-access dump station plus honey-wagon pump-out for a fee.
Most of our sites are pull-through. Let us know your rig length when you book and we’ll match you to the right site.
No — because of invasive pests, only kiln-dried wood may be brought into Connecticut, and there are quarantines even within the state. Firewood is available at the camp store to protect our trees.
No extra RV, but you can add a small tent to an RV site for $35 per night. Tenters renting an RV site can add an additional tent for $35.
Yes. Cottage guests provide their own bedding — sheets, pillows, blankets or sleeping bags — and towels. Cottages include a full bathroom with shower, mini-fridge, heat, and air conditioning.
Pets must be leashed at all times and you must clean up after them. Please bring vaccination records for check-in. Pets are welcome throughout the campground, including our cottages — everywhere except the pool area. Pets that disturb other campers may be asked to leave.
We have a swimming pool on site, and we’re within a mile of Moodus Reservoir for boating, fishing, and swimming. The Salmon River is close by, with kayak and boat rentals nearby.
Yes — the Airline Trail and several state parks nearby offer safe, scenic riding for the whole family.
Plenty! Gillette Castle, the Goodspeed Opera House, the Essex Steam Train, Devil’s Hopyard, the CT Wine Trail, and more. See our Activities page.
Our capacity for visitors is limited, so please check with the office first and register them. See the full visitor policy for fees and rules.
